February 2024 Last November we managed to evacuate nearly 50 animals to two safe places close to Wad Madani – at least that is what we thought back then. However, no one could predict how quickly the circumstances would change. War caught up with them again and put the lives of the already weakened animals at risk once more.
In an incredibly challenging mission, we transferred the animals to a safe place outside of Sudan. However, for the majority, this is not the end of their journey.
With your help, we plan to bring them to our Big Cat Sanctuary LIONSROCK in South Africa soon. There, they can finally get all the care they so desperately need and deserve after the horrors they had to endure. Can they count on you?
