The Founder’s Society ensures our reach is greater, making our impact more profound. Here are just some of the ways your thoughtful contributions can help:

  • $100 covers vaccinations and sterilization for a stray dog in need of care
  • $250 provides enrichment to entertain rescued big cats at FELIDA Big Cat Sanctuary
  • $500 pays for a veterinary check for a bear at BEAR SANCTUARY Ninh Binh
  • $1,000 covers a full exam with x-rays and bloodwork for a rescued big cat
  • $2,000 provides one year’s worth of food for a lion or tiger at LIONSROCK Big Cat Sanctuary
  • $5,000 helps our team safely rescue and transport an animal from inappropriate keeping to a better life in one of our sanctuaries

Here is just one of many success stories – the rescue and relocation of elephant Madhubala, from solitude in a zoo enclosure to a sanctuary reunion with her sisters – that was made possible with the generous help of our Founder’s Society members:

Our impact would not reach as many animals without the generous and compassionate support from our Founder’s Society members. We have changed so many lives with the help of our donors.

Some recent highlights:

 • In 2024, FOUR PAWS provided veterinary care to more than 30,000 dogs and cats in ten countries, including spay and neuter operations, rabies vaccinations, and other medical treatments.

• In 2024, we carried out 42 rescues, including a high-risk mission in Sudan where 47 captive wild animals were saved from abandonment and starvation, and cared for more than 300 rescued animals in our species-appropriate sanctuaries.

• Following a long 15 years away from her family, suffering in inappropriate keeping at a zoo, elephant Madhubala was reunited with her sisters at Karachi Safari Park in a brand-new enclosure made especially for her.

• After being painfully caged for years in a circus wagon near Paris, lionesses Tomoyo and Illiana were brought to our LIONSROCK Big Cat Sanctuary in South Africa, where they now enjoy enriching lives in a spacious, species-appropriate environment.

• Having been illegally trafficked online in Albania, bear cub Dori was left orphaned, distressed, and alone. FOUR PAWS turned his life around and saved him from a terrible fate by providing a new life at our BEAR SANCTUARY Prishtina in Kosovo.
