Our planned giving society is named in memory of our beloved founder, Heli Dungler. Heli was a visionary in the animal welfare world and his legacy lives on through our organization’s work. For over 30 years, he helped rescue thousands of animals and created global change. We feel his spirit in the beautiful resilience of over 100 rescued bears and big cats in our sanctuaries. 

Like the saying goes, an elephant never forgets. Neither will we. 

To help you get started on your plans and legacy, we have partnered with FreeWill. This online tool guides you through the process of creating a legally valid will or trust – for free. It’s easy to use, accessible online and can be completed in 20 minutes. After using our resource, you can finalize your plans with an attorney. 

Do you have an IRA, 401(k), life-insurance policy, or any other assets not included in your will? If so, these are called non-probate assets and you must plan your beneficiaries for them separately. Use this online tool to make your plans and designate us as a beneficiary of one or more of these assets.
