Romeo
Rescued from a circus in May of 2024, Romeo now lives at LIONSROCK Big Cat Sanctuary in South Africa. His enclosure is next to lioness Nala, and the two have developed a heartwarming friendship!

Mark
After being held in a small cage beside a restaurant in Albania for 20 years, Mark was rescued in December of 2022, and he now lives at BEAR SANCTUARY Arbesbach in Austria.

Sasha
After being orphaned as a cub, attempts were made to rewild Sasha when she was a young cheetah. However, a near-fatal attack by a wildebeest left Sahsa unable to survive in the wild, and now the three-legged cheetah now calls LIONSROCK home.

Anuk
Sun bear Anuk was rescued from the illegal wildlife trade when she was less than 60 days old. Anuk now lives at BEAR SANCTUARY Ninh Binh in Vietnam, where she enjoys climbing, playing with encrichments, and charming her caretakers!

Kenya & Samba
Kenya & Samba, the last circus tigers in Slovakia, were rescued in January of 2025. They now live at FELIDA Big Cat Sanctuary in the Netherlands where they are getting more comfortable and playful every day!

Rocco
Rescued in June of 2019, Rocco had been kept as a pet in a tiny, rusted cage for 8 years. Now, Rocco thrives at BEAR SANCTUARY Muritz in Germany where he is known as a rambunctious bear who loves to play with tree trunks.

Deigo
Diego was born into private ownership and then sold to a hunting facility before being rescued by an animal welfare activist. He has lived at FELIDA Big Cat Sanctuary since November, 2024, where a budding romance is developing between himself and lioness Manuschka.

Felix
After more than 3 decades in captivity as a "restaurant bear," Felix was rescued in May of 2025. This elderly bear is settling in well at BEAR SANCTUARY Arbesbach where he's enjoying exploring his new forest home.

Charlota
Taken from her mother as a cub, Charlota was sold to a private owner and kept as a pet. Rescued in July of 2023, Charlota is now flourishing at TIERART Wild Animal Sanctuary in Germany.

Masha
Masha was rescued from a hunting station in 2018 where she was tied up and used to train hunting dogs. This intelligent, curious bear now calls BEAR SANCTUARY Domzhyr in Ukraine home.

Illiana & Tomoyo
Forced to perform in a French circus for years, lions Illiana & Tomoyo started their new life at LIONSROCK Big Cat Sanctuary in April of 2025. The two lions are very relaxed and are enjoying their new forever home.

Amelia
Rescued from a mini zoo in Albania in January of 2019, Amelia lives with her partner Meimo in the beautiful mountains of Arosa Bear Sanctuary in Switzerland. Known as a bright and curious bear, Amelia loves to play and wrestle with Meimo and explore her vast enclosure.
