What is 'Donation Matching'?
Donation matching is when companies match their employees’ charitable donations. Thus, when their employee donates to a nonprofit organization, that employee can also submit a request to their employer to match that amount. Most companies will match gifts at a 1:1 ratio, or "dollar-for-dollar".
